The 390's were originally built in Italy and had a more angular receiver. Later models had a rounded receiver like the 391. The 3901 is a Beretta USA product, and has the rounded receiver. Its the same gun as the 390, less the mag cut off. . Im not sure if the wally world guns come with all the stock shims and chokes.
