40 shower valve parts diagram
Ran into a leaky Pegasus shower valve today. It's a Home Depot product, but even Home Depot doesn't know how to get parts when I give them the part numbers. I would think there would be a Danco or Glacier Bay equivalent, but haven't found one. Anybody else had experience with Pegasus? I’m using a Hansgrohe iBox Valve with a “S pressure” trim rated for 5.5 GPM. The shower head is limited to 1.8GPM max per CA code but the tub filler should still be able to utilize the full 5.5GPM. The manufacturer diagram for the valve is showing 3/4” straight from the supply line. But from researching I see 1/2” to bathroom fixtures seems standard? Can anyone tell me what is likely wrong? Or what the possibilities are? I will need to shut the water off for my whole house to fix whatever is going on inside this valve, and I would like to do my best in order to have the correct parts on hand before I take it apart.
